Obituary: Phyllis E. Prince, 93, of Stratford
Phyllis, known as a social butterfly, loved trips to the casino, picnics, gatherings, dancing and traveling.
STRATFORD, CT - (From Pistey Funeral Home) Phyllis E. Prince, age 93 of Stratford, passed away on July 16, 2021 at Jewish Senior Services in Bridgeport.
She was the wife of the late William Prince.
Phyllis was born in Bridgeport to the late John and Irene Sterbinsky.
Phyllis loved to travel and meet people.
She also enjoyed trips to the casino, and picnics and gatherings where she could socialize, dance, and have a good time.
Phyllis is survived by her sons, William K. Prince and Patrick R. Prince both of Stratford; her grandchildren, Cassi Prince, Lyndsi Prince, Cody Prince, Patrick Prince, Jr., Shawn Prince, John Prince, Melissa Borres, Kristen Barrera, and Erika Prince; her great grandchildren, Abby, Chase, Mattie, EJ, Ayden, Nevaeh, CJ, and Mina; her great-great granddaughter, Isabella; and three daughters-in-law, Paulette Prince, Debby Prince, and Debbie Prince.
In addition to her husband, William, Phyllis was predeceased by her sons, John and Keith Prince, and her daughter-in-law, Dawn Prince.
Phyllis’ family would like to thank the staff of Jewish Senior Services’ Sadie House, 4th Floor for their loving compassion in taking care of Phyllis.
Friends are invited to attend the funeral on Tuesday, July 20, 2021 at 9 a.m. at the Pistey Funeral Home, 2155 Main Street, Stratford and at 10 a.m. at St. Mark’s Church, 500 Wigwam Lane, Stratford.
Interment will follow in St. Michael Cemetery, Stratford.
Friends may call on Monday from 4-8 p.m. at the Pistey Funeral Home.
