Obituary: Robert Kimmer, 43; Formerly Of Stratford
Robert, a carpenter and handyman by trade, enjoyed fishing, camping, music, riding his motorcycle and spending time with his family.
STRATFORD, CT - (From William R. McDonald Funeral Home) Robert Kimmer, age 43 of Shelton passed away suddenly Friday, August 20, 2021.
Robert was born June 22, 1978, in Derby, son of Robert Kimmer and the late Brenda (Bell) Gebuza and had been a lifelong area resident.
He was a graduate of Stratford High School and was a carpenter/handyman. He enjoyed fishing camping, music, riding his motorcycle and spending time with his family and was an avid Boston Red Sox and Buffalo Bills fan.
Survivors in addition to his father include his devoted stepmother, Wendy Schaffer Kimmer; his paternal grandmother, Myrna Chelefou; his maternal grandmother Patricia Bell; three brothers, John Kimmer, Kevin Gebuza and his wife Kristina and Christopher Kimmer; three children, Blue Wallick, Saritah Kimmer and Abigail Kimmer, his longtime partner Elena Daniele and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was predeceased by a brother, Brian Kimmer.
Friends are invited to attend a celebration of his life on Sunday August 29, 2021, at 4:00 p.m. in the William R. McDonald Funeral Home, 2591 Main Street, Stratford.
Friends may visit with his family before service time from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. in the Funeral home.
