Obituary: Vincent S. Manna, 94, of Stratford
Vincent, a devoted family man, was a retired self-employed mechanic and as well as a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War.
STRATFORD, CT - (From Adzima Funeral Home) Vincent S. Manna, age 94, of Stratford, beloved husband of the late Gilda Scrofani Manna, passed away on February 6, 2022, in his home.
Vincent was born on February 4, 1928, in Brooklyn, New York to the late Alfonso and Concetta (Scime) Manna and had been a Stratford resident for 22 years. He was a retired self-employed mechanic and was a U. S. Army veteran of the Korean War.
Survivors include his devoted children, Robert Manna and his wife Patrice and Constance Manna, 4 cherished grandchildren, Jonathan and Cristina Manna, and Roman and Michael Yacik, and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents and beloved wife, Vincent was pre-deceased by his sister, Rose Tabbanella.
Visiting hours will be on Thursday, February 10th from 4-8 p.m. in the Adzima Funeral Home 50 Paradise Green Place Stratford. Masks are required, as visitors walk through, pay their respects, and exit without lingering to ensure all guests can come through the building.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, February 11th at 10 a.m. in St. Mark Church 500 Wigwam Lane Stratford.
Entombment with full military honors will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery, Bronx, NY.
