Bert Benne, 58, died Sept. 15, 2025. He retired as a patient services supervisor at the Ella Grasso Center after 29 years and was known for his passion for Grateful Dead music, devotion to the Yankees and Giants, and enjoyment of the outdoors.
Mary Lina Martucci, 58, died Sept. 15, 2025. A Bunnell High School graduate, she was known for her close friendships, devotion to her goddaughter, and the companionship of her dog, Captain.

John H. Beecham Jr., 67, a skilled auto body technician and grill cook known for his craftsmanship and culinary talents, died Sept. 17, 2025.
Robert “Buck” C. Grega, 75, died Sept. 18, 2025; a Bullard Havens Tech graduate and U.S. Army combat engineer who earned a Purple Heart in Vietnam, he later worked at Wines Unlimited and Mill River Country Club for 35 years and was active in veterans’ organizations and church service.

Michael “Mike” Alan Hostetter, 77, died Sept. 20, 2025. A Stratford Fire Department veteran who rose to Deputy Chief during a 37-year career and returned during Covid, he was an avid Yankees and Giants fan who enjoyed Cape Cod, Disney trips, and Friday nights at Outriggers.
Nancy Madelyn (Jahnige) Sirois, 83, the first female detective in the Stratford Police Department who served for 30 years and was an avid swimmer, boater, and community volunteer, died Sept. 22, 2025.
Tamara “Tammy” Ospina, 52, died Sept. 26, 2025. A Sacred Heart University graduate and quality assurance supervisor at The Family Security Plan, she was known for her strong work ethic, devotion to her Catholic faith, enthusiasm for Yankees baseball and soccer, love of knitting, and joy in sharing films with her family.
Annette (Couture) Cullen, 85, died Sept. 30, 2025. A St. Anthony and Stratford High graduate, she worked alongside Dr. Maiocco caring for patients and enjoyed roller skating, skiing, bowling, playing guitar by the campfire, card games, and extensive travel.
Kimberly Olah Galla, 60, died Oct. 1, 2025. A graduate of Masuk High School, she enjoyed knitting and loved to cook for her family.
Joseph Scott Monroe, 60, died Oct. 3, 2025. A skilled union carpenter who enjoyed fixing and improving things, he spent much of his time fishing, boating, and exploring the coastline for driftwood, sea glass, and shark teeth.
