Several Arrested On Drug, Gun Charges After Bust: Stratford Police

Authorities seized drugs, ammunition, and more than $1,100 in cash after executing a search warrant at an apartment, according to police.

STRATFORD, CT — Several people were arrested on drug and gun charges after police executed a search warrant at an apartment in Bridgeport on Friday, according to Stratford police.

The Stratford Police Department’s Narcotics, Vice and Intelligence Unit executed a search warrant at an apartment building on Success Avenue in Bridgeport following an investigation that was conducted throughout October and started in Stratford, according to Stratford Police Capt. Jerry Pinto.

Pinto said the search warrant execution resulted in the arrest of three men, all convicted felons, and two women.

Narcotics packaging materials, cocaine, crack cocaine, fentanyl, marijuana, ecstasy, PCP, firearm ammunition and $1,126 were seized, according to Pinto.

Pinto said Stratford’s NVI unit was assisted by approximately 15 law enforcement officers from the Bridgeport Police Task Force and the Bridgeport DEA Office.

Andre Seabury, 34, was charged with criminal possession of ammunition, large capacity magazine, illegal possession with intent to sell narcotics, illegal operation of a drug factory, illegal possession with intent to sell a hallucinogen and violation of conditions of release. He was also charged with two counts of second-degree failure to appear on two outstanding arrest warrants. He was held in lieu of a $500,000 bond with a court date of Nov. 15.

Willie Parks, 39, was charged with large capacity magazine, illegal possession with intent to sell narcotics, illegal possession of narcotics, illegal operation of a drug factory, criminal possession of ammunition and illegal possession of a hallucinogen. He was held in lieu of a $500,000 bond with a court date of Nov. 15.

Russell Lemke, 41, was charged with criminal possession of ammunition, large capacity magazine, illegal possession with intent to sell narcotics and illegal operation of a drug factory. He was held in lieu of a $500,000 bond with a court date of Nov. 15.

Shelia Ayala, 38, was charged with illegal use of drug paraphernalia, illegal possession of narcotics and illegal possession of a hallucinogen. She was also charged with two counts of second-degree failure to appear on two outstanding arrest warrants. She was held in lieu of a $10,000 bond with a court date of Nov. 15.

Celynda Watford, 26, was arrested on two counts of second-degree failure to appear on two outstanding arrest warrants.
