Frances Anne Varcoe, 83, a devoted realtor who championed first-time home buyers and immigrants, former book fair coordinator, antiques enthusiast, and environmental advocate, died Mar. 26, 2025.

Mary Irene (Kirlik) Jordan, 96, died March 29, 2025. She was a former General Electric employee who worked for the Stratford Recreation Department for 25 years before retiring in 2003.

Kathleen M. Shea (DeFonce), 70, a longtime employee of Diversified Employment Services and devoted baker who enjoyed time with family and friends, died April 1, 2025.

Virginia Bell (Richardson) Bell, 83, died April 2, 2025. She was a paralegal graduate who worked at the Stamford Post Office, SNET, as a court monitor, realtor, and Walmart personnel coordinator, and enjoyed westerns, Family Feud, and the Steve Harvey Show.

Rosemarie Barr, 89, a longtime chef at Ye Old Restaurant in Stratford who found joy in cooking for gatherings of all sizes, died April 3, 2025.

Peter F. Dragalin, 82, died April 4, 2025. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran of the Vietnam era and longtime employee of Seymour Specialty Wire Co. and Wheeler Industries.

Loraine Stook, 52, died April 5, 2025. A beloved daughter, mother, wife, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend, she will be remembered for her infectious laugh, strong and resilient spirit, love for music and adventure, and care for her family and friends.

James Thomas Misencik, 76, died April 5, 2025. A longtime Department of Social Services employee, he was a proud member of Sterling Ski Club in Stratford for almost 50 years, a passionate golfer, and UConn basketball fan.
