Jacquelyn (Jackie) LeVasseur Gabor Dailey, 89, retired 5th grade teacher and Peace Corps volunteer, died May 12, 2025, after a career in education in Milford, service in Jordan from 2004–06, and years spent traveling, baking, and organizing holiday gatherings.

Mary L. Moran, 90, died on May 14, 2025. Former owner of Vic’s Variety, the landmark store in Paradise Green started by her father, she enjoyed summers in MA at her camp trailer, casino trips, outdoor activities, and closely followed the NY Yankees and UConn Huskies, especially the women's basketball team.

Beverly Blake, 74, died on May 14, 2025. She worked as a Retirement Specialist at Pitney Bowes and spent her time gardening, baking, and hosting Sunday dinners known for her gravy and meatballs.

Patricia Carton Nelson, 87, died on May 15, 2025; a longtime educator at Mathewson School for 32 years, she earned a Sixth-Year Certificate in Educational Leadership, completed a 5K in each of CT’s 169 towns as a member of the 169 Club, ran competitively with the Milford Road Runners, and traveled extensively to countries across six continents.

Thomas G. Moycik, 91, died May 24, 2025. A retired master plumber and proprietor of Family Mechanical Inc., his interests included building clocks, boats, and cars, painting, woodworking, sailing, playing chess, and he was a 67-year member of Plumbers & Pipefitters Local 777.

Frank J. Kaputa Sr., age 94, died May 25, 2025. A retired Bridgeport fireman, U.S. Air Force Korean War veteran, and active member of Holy Ghost Russian Orthodox Church, he was known for camping summers at Hammonasset since the 1980s, traveling with his wife, and playing Pinochle with unmatched skill.
