Stratford Dog Park Seeks Community Support
The group is eyeing a grant to build a park but needs a confirmed piece of land to build on in order to qualify.

From Stratford DogPark:
We've participated in the PetSafe Bark For Your Park Contest in years past and asked the community to vote daily - and they did. (We had nearly 1700 votes in 2014!) This year they've changed things up and restructured the program to be straight forward grant funding so all we have to do for a chance at $25,000 to build our park is apply one time BUT the rules stipulate we need to have a confirmed piece of land to build on in order to qualify.
We are working with all parties at Town of Stratford Town Hall on finding the right spot, so what we ask this year is for everyone to simply contact their Town Council person and let them know they support this project and want to see Stratford, Connecticut be able to qualify for this grant funding since the Council will have to vote on it on behalf of the people.
