Occupation:

Business Operations, 20 years

Family:
I have five wonderful kids

Does anyone in your family work in politics or government?
No

Previous public office, appointive or elective:
No

Why are you seeking this office?
Stratford doesn't have much vacant land, so how the existing properties are developed or more often RE-developed is vital to the community.

We need to make well considered and smart decisions and be able to communicate the kinds of projects that will grow the grand list, address housing needs, and produce an affordable, amenity rich town of character and quality.

The single most pressing issue facing my constituents is ____, and this is what I intend to do about it:
"Affordability", and smart, community informed development is the key.

To the extent that a seat on the zoning board allows input in that process, I will use the opportunity to realize a town where I'm able to continue raising a family today and will be affordable and desirable for the next generation to consider the same.

What are the major differences between you and the other candidates seeking this post?
I'd be a new voice and viewpoint.

What other issues do you intend to address during your campaign?
Zoning is more important to determining the character of Stratford than occurs to many people. I'm just going focus on how to do that job to the best of my ability.

To me that means hearing the impacted neighborhoods and finding a path for beneficial and collaborative development.

What accomplishments in your past would you cite as evidence you can handle this job?
I have a business background across several industries where I tackle complex problems looking for creative solutions that work for the people involved.

I also live here with a gaggle of kids that have work, play, and learn in this town. I am dedicated to the current and future state of Stratford.

What is the best advice anyone ever gave you?
Don't be a d***
It's good advice and I get it whenever I've failed to remember.

Is there anything else you would like voters to know about yourself and your positions?
I think things could be better, I'd like to help, I think I'd be good at it. Gimme a shot.
