Stratford Resident Wins Big Lottery Prize

NAUGATUCK/STRATFORD, CT —A Stratford resident won a $10,000 lottery prize after purchasing a winning ticket in Naugatuck, according to the Connecticut Lottery.

On Aug. 5, Enrique J. of Stratford, purchased a 10X™ Cash 17th Edition ticket from the Stop One Mart LLC in Naugatuck and won $10,000, according to lottery officials.

The CT Lottery has changed its policy on announcing winners by not including the winners’ full names on the list in order to protect them from potential scams, according to officials.
