Stratford Resident Wins Big Lottery Prize

The winning ticket was sold at a business in Stratford, according to the Connecticut Lottery.

STRATFORD, CT — A winning scratch ticket worth $10,000 was recently sold in Stratford, according to the Connecticut Lottery.

A Stratford resident, who wished to remain anonymous, won $10,000 on a 10X Cash 17th Edition scratch ticket that was sold at Stop & Shop at 200 E. Main St. in Stratford, according to lottery officials.

The CT Lottery has changed its policy on announcing winners by not including the winners’ full names on the list in order to protect them from potential scams, according to officials.
