Stratford Schools Chief Arrested, Special BOE Meeting Called: Report
The Board of Education has scheduled a special meeting to discuss a "Personnel Matter regarding the Superintendent of Schools."

STRATFORD, CT — Stratford's Superintendent of Schools Uyi Osunde was charged with a misdemeanor in November and the Board of Education will meet Thursday to discuss the topic, Hearst Connecticut reported.
According to the online judicial website, Osunde was charged on Nov. 25 with second-degree breach of peace in the city of New Haven. He was released after posting 10 percent of a $2,000 bond and is due to appear in Superior Court on Jan. 10, 2024, according to court records.
Hearst cited in its report that the incident involving Osunde was a "domestic dispute." An attorney representing Osunde told Hearst that his client denies the allegations.
