In the endorsement letter, Connecticut State Police Union, Todd Fedigan, wished Dancho great success in her campaign and highlighted how she is “one of the few elected state officials” to receive their official endorsement this year. Fedigan attributed the decision to Dancho’s “commitment to public safety and Trooper safety” as well as on “the issues our Union has faced in the past.”
“I am grateful to have been endorsed by the Connecticut State Police Union,” said Dancho. “Our law enforcement officers work tirelessly to keep us safe, and I look forward to being their voice as State Representative. This rare honor inspires me to continue investing in police recruitment and retention programs, bring attention to highway safety concerns, and fight to restore the ability for our officers to effectively carry out their investigative duties as they protect us every day.”

Dancho was also recently endorsed by the Connecticut Fraternal Order of Police, a nationally renowned organization, and retired Stratford Deputy Police Chief, Paul Aurelia, who voiced his support for Dancho’s “strong public safety record.”
Dancho added, “Stratford can’t afford someone who doesn’t value both our police and community safety. I have seen members of my own family serve in law enforcement and I couldn’t imagine having them worry about not getting the support they deserve in Hartford. With your vote this election, I will defend our law enforcement against restrictive mandates, secure state funding for their needs, and fight to make sure that all our policemen and women can return home safely.”
