Stratford Store Has Liquor Permit Suspended By State

STRATFORD, CT — A Stratford liquor store will have its liquor permit suspended for one day next month, according to the state Department of Consumer Protection Liquor Control Commission.

Roosters Land Wine & Spirits, located at 1340 Barnum Avenue, has paid a $1,000 fine and will have its liquor permit suspended on July 14, according to state records.

The suspension “resolves issues concerning the following statutes or regulations,” according to the liquor control commission: conduct of permit premises – permittee strictly accountable and sale/delivery to minor.
