Stratford Woman Killed In Chain-Reaction Crash In New Jersey: Police
The woman was killed in a four-vehicle crash, according to New Jersey State Police.
MAHWAH, NJ — A Stratford woman was killed in a chain reaction crash involving a semi-truck on a highway in New Jersey on Thursday, according to police.
The four-vehicle collision was reported on I-287 North just before 5:45 p.m., according to New Jersey State Police. A Freightliner tractor-trailer hit the back of a Honda Civic near milepost 66.3, police said.
The impact caused the Honda to strike the Audi in front of it, which in turn rear-ended a Ford F-350.

Police said the Honda driver, 40-year-old Lauren Kopko of Stratford, was fatally injured in the collision. The Audi driver sustained minor injuries.
Officials will continue investigating the crash. The highway was closed for several hours.
