Thanksgiving Holiday Announcements In Stratford

Officials announce the schedule for town buildings and trash collection for the Thanksgiving holiday, starting on Wednesday, Nov. 27.

STRATFORD, CT — Stratford Town administrative offices will close at 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 27. The offices of the Tax Assessor, Tax Collector and Town Clerk will close at 2 p.m. Mayor Laura R. Hoydick reminds residents to please plan accordingly if you have business to attend to at any Town departments.

Additionally, Town Hall and Town Buildings will be closed on Thursday, Nov. 28, and Friday, Nov. 29, for the Thanksgiving holiday.

Sanitation Schedule: There will be NO refuse, recycling or yard waste collection on Thursday, Nov. 28. Thursday’s route will be picked up on Friday, and Friday’s route will be collected on Saturday. The Transfer Station on Watson Boulevard will be CLOSED on Thursday, Nov. 28.

The Transfer Station will be open on Friday, Nov. 29 from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. and Saturday, Nov. 30 from 8 a.m. to 12 noon.
