SUFFIELD, CT — A Massachusetts resident converted a $5 investment in a CT Lottery scratch ticket, purchased at a Suffield retailer, into the game's top prize of $50,000.

Kevin S. of Westfield bought his lucky Wild Multiplier ticket at the Food Bag convenience store on Mountain Road. He claimed his winnings Thursday, according to the lottery website.

The CT Lottery routinely publishes winnings of $10,000 or more.
