Suffield Town Community Development Block Grant Hearing

Agenda highlight:

Resident input on how to use Community Development Block Grant funds will be heard. The town is proposing applying for $120,000 for handicapped accessibility improvements to two units in the senior housing complex on Bridge Street.

Suffield Town Budget Hearing
Wednesday, April 27

Suffield High School Auditorium

The town's budget for the coming fiscal year will be presented at a public hearing. Citizens can ask questions about the budget before it is presented for a vote at a town meeting in May.

Referendum on Bonding Projects
Thursday, April 28
6 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Suffield Middle School

A referendum will be held for Suffield citizens and property owners to vote on the four projects proposed for bonding. The projects, totalling $14.8 million, are Town Hall renovations, road and drainage improvements, new fire equipment and a new library.
