Community Garden at Hilltop Offers Openings
The Friends of the Farm at Hilltop on Route 159 has spaces available.

Gardeners in Suffield and the surrounding area are invited to join the Friends of the Farm at Hilltop (FOFAH) by claiming a spot at the group's new community garden.
The collaborative, community effort requires only $25 or five hours of volunteer work from interested gardeners to claim a 400-square-foot plot at Hilltop Farm. Crops are positioned to receive plenty of sunlight and rainwater is collected at the farm for watering crops. The plots will be plowed and staked for every member ahead of their initial planting times.
FOFAH is allowing access to the garden until sunset each day throughout the growing season and organzing volunteer labor for upkeep of the garden. Volunteers will be rototilling, installing fences and marking paths, among other work.
