As Fall Sports Practices Begin, A Look At Suffield's Team Title History, 2025 Schedules

SUFFIELD, CT — Monday marked the first day for official workouts for high school fall sports programs across Connecticut, with the exception of golf which began practices last week (full contact is permitted at football practices beginning this weekend). With the coming of the new season comes the hope for success, with the ultimate goal being winning a state championship.

Suffield High School's 17 fall state titles date back to 1958. Here are the state championships won by Wildcat teams in autumns past.

• boys soccer (9) - M: 2013, 2012, 2011, 2006, 1991, 1981, 1978; S: 1960, 1958
• girls soccer (6) - M: 2010, 2009, 2006, 2005, 2000; S: 1998
• boys cross country (2) - M: 2011; SS: 1998

For the 2025 season, Tracie Kelly takes over as head girls soccer coach.
