Friends of Suffield Open House Event Still On

Winter weather won't delay or postpone the Friends of Suffield open house, with a feature presentation on cake decorating and dipping strawberries, on Thursday night.

Did you ever wonder how to make those beautiful, mouth-watering “tuxedo strawberries”? Or wish you knew how to create a cake that really stands out?

Don’t miss the Friends of Suffield open house tonight, Thursday, March 1 at 7 p.m. at the Lily House. Leanna Daniele, of Western Massachussets' La Fiorentina Bakery, will be sharing her secrets on crafting two kinds of treats in a presentation entitled “Tuxedo Strawberries and Cake Decorating Basics.”

The event will occur no matter what weather the town will face Thursday night.

The complimentary event is hosted at the Lily House, located at 13 Bridge Street, on the corner of Bridge Street and Route 75 in the center of Suffield. Parking will be available across the street.

The function is open to current members of the Friends of Suffield and Suffield residents interested in learning more about the Friends of Suffield, a volunteer organization committed to enriching our town and giving back to the community.
