Girl Scouts Movie Night Features Spooky Fun Friday
The Suffield Girl Scouts host a showing of "Spooky Buddies," an all-ages Halloween film, at their movie night fundraiser Friday at Suffield High School.
The Suffield Girl Scouts host a movie night Friday at , screening a Halloween-themed Disney movie for attendees and raising funds for the troop.
For $5 (and free admission for kids aged 4-years-old and under), visitors can watch Disney's Spooky Buddies and enjoy a soft drink and snack while supporting the local Girl Scout troop. The event is open to all Girl Scouts and other kids of Suffield, along with their parents. All proceeds go to the scouts.
Spooky Buddies, an extension of Disney's Air Bud franchise, features a troupe of talking dogs taking on the Halloween Hound and Warwick the Warlock with the fate of the world at stake. The adventure film is in good fun, however, featuring a G rating. It is appropriate for all ages.

The SHS auditorium doors open at 6:15 p.m. and the movie starts at 7 p.m. It will conclude around 8:30 p.m. Admission is first-come, first-served until the auditorium is full.
Children are more than welcome at the event but must be accompanied by a parent as no child care is provided.
