High and Low Fuel Prices for Aug. 30

Connecticut residents are paying an average of $3.91 per gallon of gas Tuesday, 30 cents more than the national per-gallon average of $3.61. Connecticut gas prices remain the second highest in the nation. Hawaii’s $4.09 average per-gallon price is the country’s highest.

The national per-gallon average rose 3 cents since Tuesday, Aug. 23. The Connecticut state average stood steady in the same period, according to AAA.
