Letter to the Editor: DTC say McAnaney Mismanaged Court Finances
The Suffield Democratic Town Committee sent out a mailing challenging Republican candidate for first selectman and former probate judge Ed McAnaney's management of probate court finances.
The Suffield Democratic Town Committee recently sent out a mailing challenging Republican candidate for first selectman and former probate judge Ed McAnaney's management of the Suffield probate court's finances.

- McAnaney's budgets were out of balance.
- He mismanaged the probate court finances, and suffield is paying almost $2,500 for his unpaid bills.
- On Nov. 8, say no to Ed Mcananey.

- "Final assessment payment was (8 months) late and by statute is subject to interest*."
- Paid "workers' compensation insurance" but it was "disallowed*."
- He misrepresented his annual dues by almost double the amount, until it was discovered by the auditor: "Dues were overstated, the amount [McAnaney] deducted was greater than the amount paid*."
- While you struggled at home, his last year in office, he doubled his salary.
- Do you really want someone running Suffield's finances who had big problems with the proboate court's finances?
