Local Fitness Center To Host Breast Cancer Fundraiser
Suffield's Unique Fitness has its "Get Pumped for Pink" event to raise money for the American Cancer Society's Relay for Life on Oct. 29.
A Suffield fitness center is hosting a breast cancer charity event on Oct. 29. The funds raised will benefit Team Hope, a group of participants in the American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life. A variety of activities will be available for free with donations suggested.
Unique Fitness’ “Get Pumped for Pink” event runs from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 29 at Unique Fitness, 157 Mountain Road.
Unique Fitness encourages people to stop in anytime during the event to join its day of fitness and fun while raising money for a good cause. Besides Zumba and nail painting, attendees can get a feather to sport in their hair. Unique Fitness will also hold a raffle and have refreshments on hand.
