UPDATE: MREs, Water Available at 5 Locations Friday
Meals, Ready-to-Eat (MREs) and drinkable water are available for Suffield residents who need them from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. Friday at five locations around town.

Meals, Ready-to-Eat (MRE) and bottled water will be distributed free of charge for Suffield residents in need at five locations in town from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. Friday.
The shelter at , The Suffield Fire Department stations at Ebbs Corner and 73 Mountain Road, the building at 205 Bridge Street and the Suffield Police Department at 911 Mountain Road.
MREs are self-contained, full meals that are warmed using a water pouch and heat element. gives a sarcastic look at MREs but also shows what to expect in a typical package. MREs are made to sustain soldiers on the field of battle and are a hearty, energizing meal. They may be a great help for some Suffield residents without power.
