• Chanukah Celebration Returns Sunday To Suffield Town Green (patch.com) — Families in Suffield are invited to gather on the Town Green this Sunday for the town’s third annual public Chanukah menorah lighting, hosted by Chabad of Suffield. The free, family-friendly celebration will feature music, dancing, hot latkes, doughnuts, chocolate gelt, and hands-on crafts, including making personal menorahs, all aimed at welcoming the broader community.
   

• Suffield PD Adds First K-9 Team Since 2016 After Officer Roman, K-9 Rico Graduate Academy (patch.com) — Suffield residents will soon see a new K-9 team on patrol, as Officer Randy Roman and his dog Rico have graduated from the Capital Region K-9 Training Academy and will begin active duty. The department’s first K-9 since 2016, Rico is certified in patrol and narcotics detection, and officials say the team will boost evidence searches, tracking, and community engagement.
   

• Boys and Girls High School All-America Teams revealed for Fall 2025 season (soccerwire.com) — A Suffield Academy boys soccer player, defender Gavin Baer, has been named to the United Soccer Coaches High School All-America Team for the Fall 2025 season. He’s one of nearly 200 standout players nationwide who will be honored at a January ceremony in Philadelphia recognizing top high school talent.
