Winter Walkers/Runners and Snowshoers - FREE
Get in shape this winter and keep your Fitness Resolutions in 2024! Let’s enjoy the winter weather, get motivated and go on a lunchtime walk/jog or snowshoe session depending on the weather. All levels and abilities welcome. We will go over warming up, fitness walking/snowshoeing and have a fun time getting you re-energized for the rest of the day. The program will run in all weather conditions so please bring proper winter gear. Even if you can only join the program for a half hour, you are encouraged to join the group. Prizes will be awarded to the most dedicated walkers. Please wear comfortable clothes that allow for movement, sneakers and bring a water bottle.

Dates: January 2, 9, 16, 23, 30 (Feb. 6 and 13 are the bad weather make up days if needed.
Times: 12:00 p.m. - 1:00 p.m.
Location: Meet at the Middle School Track (if there is too much snow/ice on the track we will walk behind the McAlister and Middle School)

Total Body Strength and Cardio (Monday and Wednesday Mornings) New!
Are you looking for a terrific way to get in shape in 2024 and get your workout in early? Join us for this fun and effective cardio, strength and core class. In forty five minutes you will feel energized, strengthened and ready to start your day after a calorie burning, heart pumping and muscle toning workout. You will achieve fantastic results in this motivating two day a week program and start the new year and your morning off right!
Days: Monday and Wednesdays
Dates: January 3, 8, 10, 17, 22, 24 29, 31, Feb. 5, 7, 12, 14 (No program on January 15) back up snow days are Feb. 21, Feb 26, Feb. 28 and March 4)

Intro to Fitness Boxing (New)
If you are looking to add a cardio component to your strength-training routine that is fun and will keep you moving, this is the perfect activity for you. Fitness boxing has adapted boxing movements and footwork drills, as well as punching drills on heavy bags and focus mitts, that brings physical and mental health benefits, requiring you to change your posture and your position. During a class you will punch a bag more than 100 times while engaging your core, lower and upper body, including moves like planks, push-ups, squats and more. These additional exercises will help you strengthen and tone your entire body and improve your cardiovascular fitness. Who wouldn't want to punch their way into a better day? It is quite therapeutic because, with every punch you make, you will relieve both mental and physical tension. Your body will release endorphins that will stimulate your mood and further reduce your stress levels.

Get Fit with FitBarre (New!)
FitBarre is a mixture of Pilates, yoga, and strength training. This is a low-impact workout that will help tone and elongate muscles, improve posture and increase flexibility. You will work through low intensity movements with high repetitions, small isometric movements sometimes using light weights, core balls, mini bands and blocks to help build muscular endurance and core strength.

Cardio, Core and More Family Time Workout! (New)
Let’s have fun and get our hearts pumping while toning our core and our lower body! This class will help strengthen and tone our legs, core and behind. We will be doing squats, lunges and core. We will get our heart rate going with some jump squats and burpees. Modifications will be shown. All Levels are welcome and this is the perfect way for the family to get in shape together!

Full Body Boot Camp (New)
Let’s get motivated and have fun getting in shape. This is a fun circuit “workout” that we will be incorporating some weights and body weight exercises to become stronger and toned. All moves can be modified. All levels welcome!

Energizing Winter Vinyasa Flow – (NEW Saturday morning program!)
Start the New Year right with our new energizing Vinyasa yoga flow that will kick start your Saturday morning and inspire you to move through the rest of the weekend with intention and ease from the comfort of your own home. There will be a strong focus on proper alignment and linking movement to one’s breath to ultimately promote flexibility, increase mobility, build strength, balance and relieve stress. This flow will end with a sprinkle of core work and a final relaxation that will leave you ready to take on your day. This practice is a one- hour class and has been designed for all levels-from beginners to seasoned Yogis. Please wear comfortable clothes that allow for movement and have a water bottle and a Yoga Mat ready for class.
