Residents Share Local Concerns on SeeClickFix

Suffield community members recently marked a some local issues using local mapping tool SeeClickFix. Add your opinion or post your own local problems by using the map in this story.

Concerned residents in and around Suffield have recently used local mapping tool SeeClickFix to point out problems in town and the surrounding area.

The mapping tool, operated by a company based in New Haven, is also being used by Enfield town government for notification of and response to non-emergency quality of life issues in that town.

Issues marked in Suffield in the last week include:

  • High grass at the intersection of North Grand Street and Spruce Street, blocking drivers from being able to safely see into the intersection.
  • Potholes along South Stone Street causing problems for cars on that road.
  • Debris left over from the severe winter storm, uncut grass and other issues on Thrall Avenue.
  • Boston Neck Bridge is marked on the SeeClickFix map as closed until repairs are made.

To post an issue: Click the green "Report an issue" button at the bottom of the map window above the text in this article. Enter the location information on the first screen, then click the blue "Next" button to fill in the specific issue information. Press the orange "Submit" button to add to the map.

To show support for fixing a current issue: Click on the issue you want to support fixing on the map. A window with information about that issue will pop up over the map. Then, click the blue plus sign in the very top of the issue window. Look for the orange "Fix it!" text and click on it.
