Road Closure Announced In Suffield: Police

Police said a portion of the road will be closed until repairs can be made.

SUFFIELD, CT — A portion of Suffield Street is closed due to a “culvert failure,” according to Suffield police.

Police said the affected area is between 1134 and 1142 Suffield Street.

“The plan is to put in place some steel plates until the repairs can be made, however until the plates can be installed the road will be closed,” police wrote in a post on Facebook. “Suffield Street is not going to be able to be used for through traffic. The area is located south of Mather Street in Suffield and near the rear of the Department of Corrections facilities.”
