Rollover On Route 159 Sends Driver To Hospital In Second Crash This Week

Police say the minivan went off the roadway and overturned; it follows a fatal Route 159 crash reported just one day earlier.

SUFFIELD, CT — A man was taken to Hartford Hospital Friday night after a one-car rollover crash on Route 159, according to a press release from Suffield police.

The crash was reported around 7:16 p.m. in the area just south of Boston Neck Road. Police said a minivan traveling north on East Street South "drove off the east side of the roadway and rolled over after colliding with trees"

The driver, who was the sole occupant, was conscious and alert after being helped from the vehicle. He was transported by the Suffield Volunteer Ambulance Association for injuries suffered in the crash.
