Run 2 Remember Returns To Suffield With Donation Drive

SUFFIELD, CT — Suffield Parks & Recreation will once again assist with this year’s Run 2 Remember, a free community run and walk scheduled for Sunday, November 23rd, at 10 a.m. on the Town Green, according to a post on the department’s social media page.

The event honors family members and friends the community has lost too soon, the post said. Participants are encouraged to bring donations for Suffield Community Aid, which supports residents facing financial and other hardships.

Officials said requested items include canned goods, pasta, macaroni and cheese, and toiletries. Residents who live along North Main Street can also take part. According to the post, Parks & Recreation staff will collect donations directly from spectators as walkers and runners pass along the route.
