SUFFIELD, CT — The winter sports season is now behind us, the calendar has turned to spring, high school practices are well underway and opening day looms around the corner for all seven CIAC-sanctioned spring sports in Connecticut. With the coming of the new season comes the hope for success, with the ultimate goal being winning a state championship.

Suffield High School's five spring team state titles date back to 1982. Here are the state championships won by Wildcat teams in springs past.

  • boys golf (2) - III: 2017; II: 1982
  • girls outdoor track (2) - M: 2002, 2000
  • boys outdoor track (1) - S: 1998
