Suffield Announces End of Storm Cleanup Efforts
Suffield has exhausted its budget for debris and brush removal from town roads.

The town of Suffield has completed its brush and branch cleanup operation after four weeks. The town has used the entirety of funds allocated for the removal of debris created by the recent fall snowstorm.
The final day of debris collection was Friday, according to a message on the town Web site. Almost all Suffield residents had some debris fall in their yards following the storm and some had very large amounts to deal with.
If that brush hasn't been picked up by the town yet, the responsibility of removing it now shifts to the property owner.

"Any brush left after that date [Dec. 2] will be the homeowner's responsibility," the message said.
The town landfill is still accepting brush and debris related to the storm without charging residents. Contractors and other professionals will be charged the normal rate.
