Suffield Bank VP graduates from the CT School of Finance & Management

Susan Thorner has worked at the First National Bank of Suffield for more than 20 years.

Susan Thorner, vice president of the First National Bank of Suffield, recently graduated from the Connecticut School of Finance and Management, an intensive two-year bank management training program sponsored by the Connecticut Bankers Association.

Thorner manages the bank’s main office in Suffield and oversees regulatory compliance for the bank. An employee of the bank for more than 20 years, she is also a member of the Bank Compliance Association of Connecticut and a certified regulatory compliance officer.

A resident of Suffield, Thorner has long been an involved and contributing member of the Suffield community. She is a founder, past president and current board member of the Suffield Chamber of Commerce, serves on the economic development commission and is a co-president of the Suffield ambulance board of trustees.

During its 51-year history, more than 2,000 bankers have graduated from the Connecticut School of Finance and Management.
