Suffield Earns Top Seed In Girls Soccer Tournament: See Full Brackets

CONNECTICUT — A total of 32 girls soccer teams from high schools in Hartford and Tolland counties will be among those competing for four state championships, as the CIAC released its tournament pairings Tuesday.

Among the area schools, Suffield earned the top seed in Class L and will receive a first-round bye. Defending champions St. Joseph, Simsbury, Bacon Academy and Cromwell have all qualified for the chance to repeat their success from last year, though Simsbury has moved up from Class L to LL.

First-round competition will take place Nov. 1 and 2. Championship games are slated for Saturday and Sunday, Nov. 16-17 at Trinity Health Stadium in Hartford.
