In further District 8 LL tournament action, Suffield's 9- and 10-year olds lost a close one to Somers, 11-9. Trevor Kulas (four hits, three runs), pitcher Claudio Santaniello (two hits, one walk) and Justin Price (two hits) were top players for Suffield.
