Learn photography tips and tricks from beginner to pro at our new fun workshop!

Looking for something fun to do Valentine's week?

Join the Suffield Parks and Recreation Department, The Trees for Suffield Initiative and Chad Lemmens for this one of a kind photography workshop. From photography beginners to pro’s, you will learn insightful tips and tricks to get your best shots! You will also learn more about the The Trees for Suffield Initiative's 2024Photo Contest, Trees, 4 Seasons. The Trees 4 Seasons Contest will celebrate Suffield’s trees and increase awareness of the benefits trees provide all year long. Experienced or aspiring photographers, youth or adult are eligible to apply. Take new photos or search your archives for past favorites. The deadline for entries is March 31, 2024. In this educational, hands-on and fun workshop, you will learn about:

* How photography is a way to explore your inner creator

* From beginner to expert, it’s fun to grab a phone, camera, or drone and capture some sights

* Once you find an eye for what you want, your brain will continue to think about perspectives

all around you

* Join us for a way to unlock those creative perspectives or just learn something new.

The workshops, led by Chad Lemmens of Lemmens Creative Design

your camera. After some initial instruction, Chad will help you get your best photos and take

them to the next level.

Date: Thursday, February 15

Time: 4:30 - 6:00pm

Location: Suffield Senior Center-145 Bridge Street

Ages: All ages, recommended for children age 8 and above. All those under 16 must be

accompanied by an adult.

Fee: This new workshop is FREE but donations to Trees for Suffield
