The Town of Suffield is now accepting sealed bids for a 1987 Pierce Arrow Fire Pumper, according to a posting on the town website.
Potential bidders have until 7 p.m. on Oct. 14 to submit a sealed bid package to the Suffield Fire Commission at 73 Mountain Road. All of the bids should be marked “1987 Pierce Arrow bid."
The truck has 39,400 miles on it and includes 28-foot and 16-foot aluminum ladders.
