The East Haddam Food Bank has a goal to serve community members in need of food support. The food bank is located in the basement of the Grange Hall, 488 Town Street, East Haddam. The Haddam Volunteer Fire Company is completely made up of volunteers, who make themselves available day and night, 365 days per year, to help their neighbors in need. There are currently about 40 members working out of three stations. The company responds to all areas in Haddam, west of the Connecticut River, including the Villages of Higganum and Tylerville — 46 square miles populated by approximately 7,300 people, according to its website.>>>Read More.
