1. The Killingworth Library is holding its Second Annual Summer Fun Raffle fundraiser. Have you purchased your raffle ticket yet? They are available for $10 each, 3 for $25, and 5 for $75, in person at the Killingworth Library or online at Killingworth Library Summer Fun Raffle. Some of this year's amazing prizes include Moulin Rouge Broadway tickets, CT River Valley dining experiences, travel options and more. The drawing will be held on June 16. (HK Now)

3. Caitlin Houston, a Connecticut resident, mom and a blogger on Instagram has put together a patchwork of moms helping one another through the nightmare of the nationwide formula shortage. “If suddenly I couldn’t breastfeed tomorrow and I couldn’t find formula, it would set me into a panic," Houston reportedly said. The panic pushed her to take action and now she is using her social media platform to unite moms in need with places and people who have formula for them. (WTNH.com)
