Girl Riding Her Bike Critically Injured In Haddam Hit-And-Run
A 14-year-old girl is in critical condition following an accident in Haddam on Thursday night.
HADDAM, CT — Police are investigating a wreck that left a 14-year-old girl critically injured. State Police Troop F received the call Thursday at 10:38 p.m. reporting an injured person lying on the side of the road on Route 81/Killingworth Road in Haddam near the area of #283.
Troopers discovered that a fourteen-year-old juvenile victim had been riding her bicycle northbound on Route 81/Killingworth Road when she was struck from behind by an unidentified vehicle that then fled.
The suspect vehicle then possibly continued north on Route 81/Killingworth Road, according to police.

It's believed that the suspect vehicle is a gray or silver 2006-2012 Hyundai Santa Fe.
The suspect vehicle should have right front headlight damage as well as right front quarter panel and wheel well damage. The investigation remains active.
