Haddam 2023 Election Voter Guide: Candidates, Polling Places
Here's everything you need to know concerning the Haddam local elections, including the candidates, polling places, and voting hours.

HADDAM, CT — On Nov. 7, Haddam residents cast their votes for several key municipal positions. Contested races include: the town council and school board.
Polls in Connecticut are open 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Election Day. You can use the Secretary of State’s website to find your polling place. Voters who are in line by 8 p.m. will be allowed to vote.
Connecticut also allows for Election Day registration at designated centers in each town. People must be registered by 8 p.m. in order to vote using Election Day registration. To receive your absentee ballot, complete and sign an application and return it to your Town Clerk, or you can request an absentee ballot online.

The Democratic candidate is Peter Baird and the Republican candidate is Kate Anderson.
Tax Collector
The lone candidate is Shea Berger, a Republican.
Board of Finance
The two candidates are Marijean Conrad and Emily Carrow, who are both Democrats.
Board of Assessment Appeals
The lone candidate is David Beckman, a Republican.
Planning and Zoning Commission
The Democratic candidates are: Scott R. Brookes, Tim Teran and Mike Karam, while the Republican candidates include: Larry Maggi, Dan Luisi and Jamin Laurenza.
Planning and Zoning Alternate
The Democratic candidate is Dorothy Gillespie and the Republican candidate is Alan Chadwick.
Zoning Board of Appeals
The Democratic candidate is Sandra Olsen and the Republican candidates are Ken Wendt and Margo Chase-Wells.

The Democratic candidate is Deborah Rutter and the Republican candidate is Ron Borelli.
