Haddam Woman Killed In Crash In Middletown: Police
The crash happened Sunday night in Middletown, according to police.

MIDDLETOWN, CT — A Haddam woman was killed in a crash Sunday night in Middletown, according to police.
Police responded to the intersection of Randolph Road and Ridge Road around 9:30 p.m. on the report of a serious motor vehicle accident. Officers found two vehicles in the road that were both heavily damaged, according to police.
A female driver was trapped inside her 2016 Nissan Rogue, according to police. The male driver in the second vehicle, a 2006 Freightliner truck, was able to get out of his vehicle without incident, police said.

The driver of the Nissan Rogue was identified as 52-year-old Lori Willhite of Haddam, according to police.
Police said Willhite was extricated from the vehicle by South District Fire personnel and taken to Middlesex Hospital, where she was pronounced dead.

The crash is being investigated by the Middletown Police Traffic Unit.
