Ivoryton Playhouse Launches Hurricane Relief Effort
Please donate - we are filling a truck of supplies for hurricane stricken communities in North Carolina....

Ivoryton Playhouse and the Ivoryton Alliance are supporting relief efforts in North Carolina. The effort is being spearheaded by Joseph Paul, a longtime resident of Ivoryton who is living in a community devastated by Hurricane Helene.
Drop collections off this week at the Ivoryton Tavern or the Playhouse office (22 Main Street, Centerbrook). A truck full of supplies will be driving down on Sunday.
Here is a list of items needed:

Camping style supplies - sleeping bags, blankets, Coleman style gas cans, or camping grills
Food - dehydrated foods, pop top canned foods, snack foods, electrolyte drinks, baby food, formula (premixed is ideal but all types are usable), can openers

Personal Items: jackets and coats all sizes, hoodies, small heaters for water and heating, tampons, diapers and wipes, clothing, first aid kits, antiseptics, emergency survival kits
Animal needs: horse feed, chicken feed, bowls and food for dogs/cats, troughs, flea and tick meds / wash
Cleaning supplies: mold cleaners, sponges/ brushes, brooms / mops, dehumidifiers, bleach, rubber gloves (no latex), buckets
Construction supplies: tarps, wheelbarrows, hammers, nails/screws, screw drivers, saws and blades, small tool kits, chain saws/blades/oil
We will be collecting at the Ivoryton Tavern and the Playhouse office (22 Main Street, Centerbrook) this next week and a truck will be driving down on Sunday.
