Killingworth Resident Honored At Hamden Hall Commencement
Hamden Hall Country Day School honored Killingworth resident David Swensen, a past parent and trustee of the school, with the 2013 CT Association of Independent Schools Award. Swensen is currently Yale University's Chief Investment Officer.

During Hamden Hall Country Day School’s 101st Commencement Exercises June 14, Killingworth resident David F. Swensen was honored with the 2013 Connecticut Association of Independent Schools Award.
Swensen was presented the award by his son, Tim, a 2012 Hamden Hall alumnus who currently attends Dartmouth University. Besides being a past parent at Hamden Hall, Swensen is also a former trustee on the school’s Board, where he selflessly shared his time and expertise to help improve the financial climate of the PreSchool through Grade 12 school.
“It has been a privilege for the Hamden Hall community to embrace David as one of our own over the years. He understands our culture, and we are proud of his professional accomplishments,” said Head of School Bob Izzo.
