• Thousands still without power as windy conditions expected in Connecticut overnight (courant.com) — Haddam is among several Connecticut towns where more than 300 Eversource customers remain without power after strong winds brought down trees and lines. Crews have already restored tens of thousands of customers and cleared many blocked roads, but gusty winds are expected to continue through Sunday, so residents should stay clear of downed wires and be prepared for possible additional outages.
