Killingworth Volunteer Firefighter Passes Away

Killingworth Volunteer Fire Company announcing on Facebook today that firefighter Wayne Sheehan, who was a member of the KVFC for over 24 years, passed away Wednesday night.

Thursday on Facebook, Fire Chief Dick Bauer of the Killingworth Fire Department announced that firefighter Wayne Sheehan passed away Wednesday night. Sheehan was a member of the KVFC for over 24 years. 

Bauer's message read as follows: 

It is with deep regret that I announce that firefighter Wayne Sheehan passed away last night. Wayne was a member of the KVFC for over 24 years, serving in many capacities - most notably Trustee, Sr Trustee and Assistant Chief. Details on services are not complete, as soon as I hear more I will share via e-mail and the tone tests. Please keep Wayne's wife Lorraine and the rest of the Sheehan family in your thoughts and prayers.
