Last week, we welcomed the cast of the 200th Goodspeed production! We're excited to share that Ragtime will feature some familiar faces like Mamie Parris as Mother (The Mystery of Edwin Drood, Grand Night for Singing, The Most Happy Fella); Edward Watts as Father (The Music Man, Thoroughly Modern Millie, 1776, The Girl in the Frame); and Behr Marshall (2024/2025 Festival of New Musicals) playing Mother's Younger Brother. They'll be joined by some amazing newcomers to our stage: Michael Wordly as Coalhouse Walker Jr., Brennyn Lark as Sarah and David R. Gordon as Tateh.

ABOUT RAGTIME
Set in the volatile melting pot of turn-of-the-century New York, Ragtime weaves together the stories of three fictional families striving for the American Dream. As an affluent society woman, an imaginative Jewish immigrant, and an optimistic Harlem pianist navigate a changing world, they confront history’s timeless contradictions of wealth and poverty, freedom and prejudice, hope and despair. With a Tony Award-winning score which blends ragtime, blues, jazz and show tunes, it’s a powerful, sweeping saga of America!Content Warning: This production contains racist and offensive language, violence, and murder. Sensitive topics including historical racism and social inequities are depicted.
