Annual Meeting Highlights Donor Awards
The Middlesex Community College Foundation board of directors announced the recipients of their donor recognition awards during their virtual annual meeting on November 17. Outgoing board chair Laura Krueger presided over the meeting, and treasurer Rick Morin gave the financial report (see annual report). MxCC CEO Steven Minkler and Dean Kim Hogan reviewed details about the state of the college and activities of the past year. Deanne Debrady, a social worker in New Haven, was elected as a new board member, and Julia Noriega will serve as the new student representative.

New vice chair Ken Innocenzi presented the Corporator Award to Frank Stellabotte, the Donor Award to Richard and Jane Eriksen, the Distinguished Alumni Award to Faith Jackson, MxCC ’99, and the Legacy Award to Anna Wasescha, former MxCC president. Congratulations and thank you all of the Foundation's supporters!
New board chair Chris Dibble listed the foundation’s goals for the coming year as recruiting and engaging new board members, improving relationships with donors, and increasing donations overall through corporate giving. Read the full story.

Red Moon Raffle Continues
To continue the giving spirit of the Red Moon Fest, consider purchasing a raffle ticket to help fund scholarships and more for students. Each $50 ticket gets you a chance to win $5,000 in cash, a 43" Vizio Smart TV with Samsung sound bar, or a Solo Stove Bonfire portable smokeless fire pit. GivingTuesday is a global day of generosity that will take place on November 30, 2021. Recent data shows that people are highly motivated to give in 2021 and are giving more in response to needs in their community and for causes they care about. If you are interested in making a tax-deductible contribution to the MxCC Foundation, please download the Donor Intent Form. Gifts are accepted in several forms such as cash, securities, real or personal property, gifts through life insurance policies, or transfers by or through trusts.
